Aluminak is where ARIAx’s place-based thinking becomes physical. The project began with a sustainable co-living thesis for longer stays in a rural setting and is evolving into a broader cultural-hospitality ecosystem shaped by local identity, participation, enterprise, and stewardship.
What carries forward from the original vision
The outgoing ARIAx site described Aluminak as a mediator between rural communities and international cohorts; a place where local culture, artisanship, longer stays, co-working, sustainable infrastructure, and entrepreneurship could reinforce one another.
Those ideas remain valuable. What has changed is the architecture around them: Aluminak has evolved beyond “eco co-living” into a place-based system.
From co-living to cultural infrastructure
The earlier concept emphasized remote co-living, holistic wellness, sustainable materials, co-working, and artisan entrepreneurship. The current direction retains those ingredients but places them inside a more durable proposition: build a place where culture, belonging, ecology, and enterprise can compound over time.

ARIAx’s role
ARIAx helps hold the connective architecture: positioning, ecosystem design, partnership logic, cultural and economic coherence, and the translation of a long-term place vision into executable layers.
The project also provides a living context for ideas developed through ARIAx Intelligence, including the relationship between participation, belonging, and stewardship explored in The Garbicz Principle.
